Capcom have revealed their next revolutionary fighting game; Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.
This week we will enjoy some game announcements from San Diego Comicon 2011, and yesterday Capcom kicked off the announcements with this one; Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.
This totally innovative and creative new game is an updated version of Marvel vs Capcom 3: The Fate of Two Worlds, which was released earlier this year.
As you would expect from Capcom, this new disc-based game will bring tonnes of extra features like 8 new stages (:O), 12 new fighters, a “refined fighting system” and new modes, in addition to the 3 featured on the first version of the game.
It’s nice to see Capcom making something so unique and not milking their franchises to get every last possible penny out of them.
Best of all, as these bonuses obviously cannot possibly be distributed via downloadable content*, the game will be released as a full retail game this November and will be available at a “mid-range price”, but will, of course, still be more expensive than the £14 that you can currently buy the game for.
I salute you, Capcom.
*This is actually true, read more here.
In case you just can’t control the excitement for this bucket of innovation, here is a trailer featuring gameplay that you have definitely never seen before. No wai.
