ZOMGaming: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Edition – 10/2/2012

The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim - Draugr army

The launch of a game changer, an epic battle and healthy dosage of Tobuscus – this is ZOMGaming

ZOMGaming is a weekly feature post published every Friday, featuring Matt’s favourite gaming videos from the internet over the past week. You can be the first to watch these videos by subscribing to the Cooking With Grenades YouTube channel to see our ‘Favourites’ feed.

It’s time for another ZOMGaming, and this week I have chosen a theme of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to celebrate the release of the PC mod creation kit. Below are 3 videos about my game of 2011. Keep an eye on the CWG YouTube page as Skyrim mod videos may be popping up soon.

Skyrim Creation Kit Preview

By

The Creation Kit is out now for PC Skyrim owners and it allows people to make all manors of mods. We’ve already seen some amazing Skyrim mods, but this kit is sure to vastly increase the quality and amount of mod released. Best of all, the Creation Kit is noob friendly, and even I am planning on making a mod for the game. This trailer was released a few days before the kit wasmade available, and it sowcases the main new features.

The Great Battle of Skyrim

by

There haven’t been many notable Skyrim machinima videos since the games release in November 2011, but a few days ago one popped out of the blue. The Great Battle of Skyrim pits 500 Draugr, 200 skeletons, 500 Dwarven Warriors and a dragon against each other in an epic cinematic battle. This video is really well made and it’s clear a lot of time went into it. Bravo.

LITERAL Skyrim Trailer

by

And now it’s time for a YouTube celebrity. Toby Turner is a very popular YouTube broadcaster, boasting over 1,500,000 subscribers. He is well known for his literal adverts in which he sings what is happening in the trailer to the tune of the backing music. They’re very funny, and last year he did one for Skyrim, which is above.
