DICE reveals 3 more expansion packs coming to Battlefield 3 to further enrich the Battlefield experience.
The three more expansion packs are as follows:
Battlefield 3: Close Quarters
This map pack is as the name suggests, focused on close-quarters combat. These infantry-only maps will focus entirely on close action and frantic game-play.
As EA describes, ‘Players will feel the intensity of the world exploding around them as rubble and broken pieces pile up on the floor, while tight level design and vertical game-play create a highly competitive environment.’
This map pack also introduces 10 new weapons, assignments and unique dog tags.
Close Quarters will be released in June.
Battlefield 3: Armored Kill
Battlefield 3: Armored Kill complements Close Quarters with action for the lovers of vehicle combat. The map will contain ‘new driveable tanks, ATVs, mobile artillery and more’.
DICE also reports that the Armored Kill map pack will contain the largest ever map in Battlefield history.
Armored Kill will be released some time in the autumn.
Battlefield 3: End Game
DICE is keeping quiet about this map pack at the moment, the only thing we know about it is that it will come in the winter.
No exact dates or pricing information has been given at this stage for any of the map packs.
