Generally speaking, games journalists take their job very seriously. It’s a good thing we’re not journalists then.
CookingWithGrenades originated in 2010 as Badass Panda; a PlayStation news website with an aim to add humor into the usually boringly dull games journo style. We wrote news, features and reviews for Badass Panda for around a year and a half before running into difficulties which meant the site had to be shut down.
With a domain name and hosting plan still active, we decided not to just throw in the towel, but create a new site, a better site, ironing out the many flaws that Badass Panda accumulated over the years. Thus, CookingWithGrenades was born.
The focus with CWG is to bring the writing style from Badass Panda onto a bigger scale, handling news for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS, PSP, 3DS, PS Vita, PC and more. While we aim to be active with the most importance news as it is announced, we will also be trying to implement a wide variety of feature content, ranging from rants to video picks.
CWG will also be releasing several videos on YouTube, hopefully on a weekly basis.
